Tonight is the registration night for the centennial Reunion class for the Alexandria Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.... Going to be interesting for sure!

My second post, first time blogging

    I have been a commenter on several blogs over the years, and I guess I figured that now is as good a time as any to start my own blog about general topics that interest me about history, Freemasonry, Northern Virginia and other assorted topics.  It has been a rough couple of weeks but things are starting to look up, as they always do....  Anyway, I never hesitate to shamelessly plug friends blogs, so here are two favorites : www.thisainthell.us and www.thesettingmaul.com

    This weekend, Brethren of Masonic District 4 turned out in great numbers to pay their respects to a great man, Vietnam Veteran, Master of his Lodge, and Shrine Clown, Steve "Fumbles" who layed down his working tools way too early.  Fumbles, you will be very missed by your Brothers!  I know I will miss your fellowship and your stories of Fort Monroe, Vietnam, and Chad the Military Working Dog...
